“Go ahead, make my millennium.” Inspired by the one and only ghost with the most, Beetlesuit is a top-down cropped yoke sweater and high-waisted pants set, featuring 3-color stranded colorwork stripes worked throughout the entire design, and wide long sleeves/pant legs with an i-cord bind off to finish.

This one has been a real labor of love, and I hope you love it as much as I do! You have the option to purchase just the sweater or pants pattern, OR if you'd like both, you can bundle and save $2 per pattern. Note, if you purchase the bundle and would like to add the patterns to your Ravelry library, you will need to email me with your order number and Ravelry username so I can manually send them to you. Kits are available for this design as well, which can be preordered here (sweater) and here (pants).

-- SIZING --

Beetlesuit is written for 9 sizes, with the sweater ranging from 35.5-71 in/90-180.5 cm finished bust, and the the pants from 36.25-72.75 in/92-185 cm finished hip. The sweater is meant to have a loose fit, with 3-6 in/7.5-15 cm positive ease at the bust recommended; the pants are meant to be fitted at the waist and hips, with little to no ease at the waist and hips recommended. Sample shows 3.5 in/9 cm positive ease at the bust, and  0 ease at the waist and hips. The full schematics are included in the listing photos. Note, the side panel on the legs may vary in appearance from the sample depending on the size you make.

• Written in English and US terms

• Skills to know: Cast on, knit, purl, join and work in the round, 3-color stranded colorwork, catching/trapping floats, lifted and make one increases, decrease, backwards loop cast on, pick up and knit, i-cord bind off and grafting

• You’ll need: US size 2 (2.75mm) needles or as needed to achieve gauge - 16-47” circulars recommended; waste yarn to place stitches on hold, stitch markers, pins for blocking, and a tapestry needle. *Knit blockers and mats recommended but not necessary for blocking; a Norwegian knitting thimble can be helpful as well!*

• PANTS ONLY: One PDF file containing complete instructions on how to knit the Beetlesuit pants in 9 different sizes, in a combination of written and charted instructions. Links to helpful tutorials are included. The PDF is 10 total pages, including the cover pages and charts.

• BUNDLE: Both the Sweater and Pants pattern PDFs in one zip file

-- GAUGE -- 

• 14-st colorwork stripe pattern - 30 sts/26 rounds

• (K1, p1) ribbing - 44 sts/48 rounds

Worked in the round, measured over 4”/10cm. Taken after wet blocking, using US size 2 (2.75mm) needles for colorwork and US size 1 (2.25mm) needles for ribbing.

Note: All measurements are approximate and taken after blocking. Inches are rounded to the nearest 0.25 in and centimeters to the nearest 0.5 cm.
